Why do women obsessed with branded stuff??
I went for a shopping with my friend at Orchard Road, Singapore, soon after my meeting near-by. A funny thought flashed through my mind! I wondered why women obsessed with branded stuffs-Internationally well-known brands, such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Chanel, Loewe and so on…I’d seen people Q-ing outside the door of LV outlet, waiting their turn to go in.
Back to my thought, some faces of my friends appeared on my mind, mainly because they are the “fashion front-liner”. They always stay updated with the fashion trend and go for branded stuffs, bags, outfits, shoes, etc.. Are they “materialistic”??? What is the definition of materialistic?? wondering…
I can only explain by this: we like to feel sexy and branded clothes give us more confidence..besides when you see a woman very well dressed, expensive things on her, its human thing to desire the same things. Depending on each woman , some dont give too much on expensive fine clothes but some are greedy about… it’s been always like that…
Do you think so, especially guys please voice out!! Thanks for your time.
have a nice day!

I guess women derive more feelings of luxury from branded goods. I’m a guy and to me, a bag is just a bloody bag. Maybe I’m too practical or maybe women have a stronger sense of emotion and attachment when it comes to such stuff

For me ??
Brand item especially like Adidas, Nike, PADINI, Quiksiver, Puma, John Master or Tropicana Life are giving a very huge impact on our image and self-esteem.
By dressing in a more appropriate manner, it can make us proud and confident.
I also addicted to branded items, but we must know our limits and our culture.
Sometimes, guys also becoming a ‘fashion victim’
in order to stay updated with the latest fashion trend and branded items.
So, we must be wise in selecting our style.
Even the ‘pasar malam’ or ‘uptown clothes’ are still look attractive to me !
Don,t be shy if you are not capable in buying Levis jean’s in the price of RM450 !
Just follow the ‘Mix n match’method.
By that, even unbranded items looks cool as long its comfortable for you to wear.
My opinion about the “materialistic”…
It’s normal for a woman want to keep updated with the latest fashion.
Woman always want theirselves to be beautiful, attractive and trendy.
Men also like their girlfriends to wear branded and sexy clothes…Huhuhu
But, inner beauty is also important for a woman
A beautiful women with a good heart surely can melt a men’s heart..
Think about that again
Isn’t that right ?

Dear,
Definition of materialistic is different from individuals. In general, materialistic what normally people define is someone who is eager to have something they want (material) for their life but come with a price(normally very expensive). No matter how typical or traditional a girl is, they would always want to look pretty and of course attractive, this is the way to show confident and motivation for them to continue chasing the material they are looking for.
What guy think about a materialistic girl can actually be 2 category, one which they think the girl who is looking for luxury source from someone where else the other one which is materialistic sources from their own effort. There is no right or wrong for this 2 type as both is looking for the same thing in different way. Luxury is not a long lasting as fashion can be outdated, but it is more realistic to material in a better relationship, better health, better living and stay happy.

hurm..
thats true..
women nowadays are quite “meterialistic”… ups…!!! eliza dun be mad…huhuhu
they thinks with their gucci’s shoes, prada’s hand bag, Chanel …….make them confidence.
that also true, even when i wear someting braned i feel more confidence to walk and face the people around me. it is natural as a human. But not all have the same thingking as the way i am, someone might think what im saying is wrong, because for them, appearence is not everything. As long as they confort and the dress is suite their body, they will be happy. So, it is depends on a person. life is to short and remember, do everything that make your life happy, as long as its not break the law.huhuhu
