Do you think “Looks do matter”??

Monday, May 21st, 2007

Looks may be superficial, but they are a big part of the first impression. If a person is very good-looking physically, and we know nothing about him, we are attracted. If not very good-looking, and we know nothing about him, it’s natural to not feel attracted.

#1: I once knew a guy who had “drop-dead” Hollywood good looks. Everyone who met him had that “wow” reaction. Later, I learned he was self-centered, dishonest, inconsiderate and kind of ignorant about a lot of things. Most of the people who really knew him didn’t think of him as handsome at all!

The thing to do is to get to know a guy better. First, be an acquaintance. If you learn more about him that makes you want to spend time with him, then be friends. After a while, if he proves he has tremendous “inner beauty” you may feel that attraction.

#2: The flower attracts bees with color and fragrance and the venus fly trap attracts prey with the promise of meat.

#3: A close friend of mine once told me, most guys that are good looking are often selfish and ignorant that only want to date many women at the same time, the same theory applies to beautiful ladies. Though I don’t think it’s true for everyone. So just read his soul, and if his inner is beautiful, catch the guy before some other does it.

#4: Physical appearance is important, but not the “most” important variable. If the person “hurts” my eyes, I cross that person off my list realizing this sounds superficial. I consider, honesty, intelligence, hygiene, the sound of a persons voice, speech pattern, and laughter, personal habits, mental health, posture, style of ambulation kindness, acceptance, sense of self, sense of humor, degree of positive attitude, prejudices, stability, displays of sensitivity and altruism, common sense, and the characteristics that he will contribute to the genetic potential of any of his offspring.

To me, a bit of everything matters, but not everything that shines is precious. As we discussed before in my previous post of “What do you look for in a girl”, inner beauty and pleasant personality are the most crucial things for majority to put under consideration as a lifetime partner.

I summarized as this way, nature has its own course, and natural selection is the rule of the universal. Survivors are those with stronger body and mind, those who are able to withstand unfavourable conditions, thus move forward to another level of life. The reason why we attracted to beautiful people because we think they have better nurture and child-bearing properties to favour the natural selection.

True or not?

How to know for sure he is cheating?

Monday, May 14th, 2007

How do you know for sure that your man is cheating without snooping through his things?

#1: This is a hard one, the only way I got proof if I snooped. I know it’s wrong to do, but you also have the urgent need to know the truth. There are usually signs that you can look for if the two of you live together. It would be harder if you didn’t. But if he starts making excuses all the time to stay out late or not come home. Seems more distant and doesn’t treat you the same. That could be signs, even though its not concrete evidence either. If he is not treating you as good as you should be because he might be cheating, then that is your excuse for breaking up with him without your evidence.

#2: Go with your gut feeling. Tell him, “I feel something is wrong, what do you think?”. See what his reaction is. If he is quick to defend himself, you might want to start keeping a closer eye on him. Ultimately, if you are in a relationship where 100% trust is not being displayed or used, then maybe you need to be honest with him and simply say “I don’t feel that our relationship is 100% honest, not really sure why….I just feel that way”. Then just let nature take it’s course.

I will say that snooping is not the best way to find him cheating or not. I am more concerning about his behaviour and the way he treats me. But since you suspect he is there’s clearly no trust. Without trust, there’s no relationship. This is because suspicion is a self fulfilling prophecy, if you don’t have trust in the relationship it is in for a rocky time anyway.

Do you think I am too soft-hearted?

Why women love banana so much!!

Saturday, May 12th, 2007

Ever wonder why women and also men love Banana so much? Please look down…

banana

This is interesting.
After reading this, you’ll never look at a banana in the same way again.

Bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy.   Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world’s leading athletes.   But energy isn’t the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

Depression:
According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.

PMS: Forget the pills - eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.

Anemia: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.

Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it perfect to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit’s ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.

Brain Power:
200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.

Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.

Hangovers: One of the quickest   ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system.

Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief. Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.    Mosquito bites: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.    Nerves: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.

Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at wor k leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and crisps. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady.

Ulcers: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.

Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a “cooling” fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand , for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan.    Smoking &Tobacco Use: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.   Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body’s water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.

Strokes: According to research in The New England Journal of Medicine, eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%!

Warts: Those keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a wart, take a piece of banana skin and place it on the wart, with the yellow side out. Carefully hold the skin in place with a plaster or surgical tape!

So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrate, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, “A banana a day keeps the doctor away!”

What do you look for in a girl?

Saturday, May 5th, 2007

I am sure most of the guys will sound like this:

#1: Someone to share lifes special moments with good or bad. A girl that has an energetic personality, loves to laugh, loves to know what is like to be treated with respect, someone that is compassionate and sincere and doesnt make themselves out to be someone their not.

#2: Her personality. It explains who they are, how they are, what they do, what they dont do, what they care about, what they hate, and even what they’re inner beauty is. You can usually find this in men as well. I would want a lady that actually loved, one that would be there to cheer me up when im sad or down, one that I could trust with my heart and soul, one that I could start a family with, one that I could spend eternity with, one that would make me feel special about myself.

#3: The presence of intelligence and personality. Someone that could share my feeling, the ups and downs of life and of course communications amongst each other. If she is the one, of course she should be considerated and sensitive towards my feeling and situation.

I can conclude that personality, look (body), intelligence and of course feeling towards her, are the main things what a guy look into a girl, giving the right priority.

What do you think? Do you guys agree with me?
