Hi all,

I’m back!! sorry for the long waiting. celebrating CNY..

This is actually my 1st time celebrating CNY in KL. felt very weird.. not sure why.. mainly because KL suddenly turned into a silent dead city with low density population. no jam, no cars, no noise and of course no fireworks!!! hey maybe you don’t feel the strange but for an non-local to stay in KL during the biggest festive is considerably Strange! im kind of miss the good old KL previously. now started to have the real KL back, the city is starting to get busy again..

I appreciate your blessings for CNY! thanks.. those are more than any nice words to me. sorry no ang paw as im still not attached. no lucks this year, maybe next year..haha.

back to our lecture. hey Siti and also the rest of MLT230, don’t be so upset about the last lecture, im sure you can make through it by more reading. what you have to know is the principle for the spectrophotometer and of course functional parts, such as how it works, what is the uses and functions and so on.. this subject acts as a fundamental for your instrumentation only, don’t be too tensed for this subject.. im sure with the help of more hardworks, you can make it through. MLT230 is not a subject for only instruments and equipments, the syllabus includes some urine analysis, protein analysis and chemical tests. more of the interesting topics are COMING SOON! be patient and understand the principle of the common used instruments in the lab is very useful in future.

so, do you have a better picture for this subject?? im sure you have..

thanks and take care.

Dear All,

hurray!!! chinese new year is around the corner. i’m sure this is what i used to say when i was younger. As a kid, i was dying for the arrival of CNY, why??? simply because…  Ang Paw and money and Ang Paw and dollar sign $$$$$. with the Ang Paw i received, I could buy whatever i needed. you know lar, students where got so much money to spend.. So Ang Paw to me is like JackPot and the biggest motivation to celebrate CNY.

ok lah, back to real meaning of CNY. its about family gathering and appreciation to the elderly generation. During CNY, all of our family members will have to return to our mother’s land, no matter where you are. thats why you can expect to see the hardly-seen relatives, some even can’t remember their names to sit down together and have reunion dinner during the CNY’s eve. this is tremendously important event for chinese especially my family and it has been inherited since thousands of years ago.

and also for working adults, proudly to announce i am one of them, we have to show our appreciation to our parents. generally, we will buy some food or candies, and even in the form of money. however, my parents normally wouldn’t accept it as they wanted us to save for our future. they felt proud because we have grown up and be able to support ourselves, our sincerity to them is more than everything to them..

so tell me more about how are you  going to spend your holiday? i am sure you all have a lot to tell me and excite me.

have a nice holiday.

regards, Sharen
